HEY!

One of you freaks of nature* posted something recently about looking for and trying rose BPAL scents.

Have you tried Peacock Queen? I'm sitting in a freakin' rosebush here. O.o

ETA: Rose Red, too. Much fresher and younger than the Peackock Queen, but still very rose.

* Like I can be bothered to remember who anybody is? Pishposh! I have no memory.

That would be me. ^_^

I have not yet tried either of those, but they sound great. Two, Five and Seven is lovely but has this initial moment of WTFBBQAAAGH before it settles down, and I could really live without that.

*consults website* Agh, are those both Limited Edition? *starts trying to figure out a plan*

Yup, LE Yule scents, but there's various imps running around for sale, and I suspect eBay. They're both waaaay too rose for me, though, so I've got two imps sitting here....

Hmmm.... Given how many scents I've seen you review, I doubt we'd have anything lying around to swap here that you wouldn't have tried, but I would totally buy those off you, if you're willing to sell. Email? My username, no spaces/underscores, gmail.

I love Rose Red (well, I have the 2004 edition and I doubt it's changed much since then), but Peacock Queen made me feel drunk on roses. It was way, way too much.

Yeah, Peacock Queen was very definitely a scent for a more mature woman who loves to reek be redolent of roses while Rose Red is the fresh young one. :) I haven't tried the 2004 edition, but the '05 edition had an element like a freshly cut stem floating in it.
