Hee. I wear them in the house sometimes, but not as much since I got my slip-on, slip-off shoes. Mom wears socks around the house, I tend to go barefoot unless I'm cold.

Shoes, socks, and bare feet were all in evidence at Christmas - Mom and I wandered around in socks - but the bare feet were only on the people who lived in that house, since it's much more of a hassle to take socks off, I think, plus everyone was going in and out of the house all the time. Shoes tended to stay on as more people arrived, because there was less chance of accidentally getting your toes stepped on that way. The times I had to carry things, I put my shoes back on because the non-carpeted areas were slippery with the socks.
