I'm sure it's happening to everyone and not just me, but about 20% or so of my LJ notifications are not getting through to me, and I'm noticing comments only after going to a page to answer someone else. LJ did a massive server switch a couple nights ago, and some things have been wonky since....good to note that one though. Hadn't come across that as of yet. (I have noticed icons taking days to load....even on DSL. oO)

Oh, is *that* what happened? Okay, good to know I wasn't going crazy and my cable wasn't pooping out on me.

I figure once things get set up again, we'll get all of them at once, three weeks from now. XD

Yeah, I happened to try logging on while they were doing the switchover and they said one of the likely problems was going to be server sluggishness....man, they weren't kidding!!!
