first day
First day at work. Got a thorough introduction to the Health and Safety issues, which means that someone took me all around the building to and showed me every fire exit, every fire door, every fire extinguisher, and how to operate all of them. Much more introduction that I ever got at any American job, I must say.
Haven't scanned yet - been familiarizing myself with the website project, and other similar ones around the country that are all part of the www.EnrichUK.net. This is pretty cool.
I'll get to use the big scanner soon. :)
The major problem I have is that the British keyboard is slightly different than the American one - the " is over the 2 and the @ is over enxt to the ;
