Our worst meal in Japan, 2015

On my first visit to Japan, with a friend, we had the best meal of the trip and the worst meal of the trip within 24 hours of each other. We'd gone to Koya-san, the temple complex, and stayed in a temple for two nights and

Well, now I know to go to Lawson's instead of Sad Burger Joint.

It was Sad Sukiyaki Joint! I had sukiyaki that was sad. Toby ordered curry that was sad. We sort of don't regret eating there, because now we have the Story of Sad, but I would definitely recommend either Japanese Burger King or Lawson's over the Sukiyaki of Sad.

LOL, I remember the only bad meal we had was at the tourist yakitori place in Tokyo - to the point that we got sick.

Every place else was fine (omigod, all the pastries in Kyoto) and we had some awesome meals in there.

Yeah, Japanese food and cooking is, for the most part, fantaaaabulous.
