BPAL review: Numb
Numb
BPAL description: Limited edition from Summer 2005. I don’t know about the weather where you’re at, but here in L.A… it is brain-frying’ly, grr-stickity hot. This icy blend was something that we were saving for the upcoming [not soon enough!] winter months, but since Brian and I watched the thermometer slap 107 today, we decided that there’s no better time than the present to introduce a singularly chilly, delectably ice-rimmed perfume. Revel in the gelid polar frostiness that is Numb, and forget about the heat for a moment. This scent is extremely limited, and will be available until all the bottles are spoken for. (Gender neutral)
In vial: Powder, for sure. And a very familiar scent that I can't quite place but I want to call violets.
Wet: Powdery, violets not as strong. Still familiar.
Dry: Powdery violets.
Notes: Cat sniffed politely then indicated gently but firmly she wished to be left alone to sleep. The scent is really familiar … off to the BPAL forums. [later] Ah! A number of them say the scent White Shoulders is very much like this, and I had a bottle of that as a kid - not sure /why/ I had one, but I did. I might have inherited it from my grandmother, or just stolen it from Mom. Don't think I'll wear it on a regular basis, but I'll probably keep the imp for the nostalgia value. Thanks,
