And on a happier note, after seeing Mad Max: Fury Road I read the only two bad reviews of it on Rotten Tomatoes, and they both essentially said: too much action, not enough plot.

Prepare to be blown away by lots and lots and lots of awesome car crashes. Basically, the vast majority of the stuff in the trailers? From the FIRST car chase sequence. There are at least THREE large set-piece car chase sequences in the movie, strung together by a thin thread of plot and characterization that was surprisingly deeper than any Mad Max movie has a right to expect.
