It is a fish. It is a fish filled with bean paste. It is a fish filled with bean paste that we bought from a corner stand near our hotel.

And it is good.

Taiyaki! Yum, at least when it isn't super sweet.

It wasn't super-sweet! They also had sweet potato filling, but I,m sort of eh on sweet potato, so I went with the bean one. It was yummy.

Taiyaki's one of my favourite snacks! But the filling mustn't be too sweet and the outside must be crispy. I also love the type with custard filling, which isn't traditional but it's still yummy.

The filling was not too sweet and the outside was crispy! They also had sweet potato ones, and a couple of pictures looked like they might also serve it with ice cream, but I couldn't really tell.

I thought this must be a thing when I caught one fishing in Fantasy Life. The artwork for it looks almost exactly like your photo. Sounds delicious. :)

I have learned it's called taiyaki, and it comes with a few different fillings, but bean paste is the usual.
