I had a DVD from "Planet Earth" in the drive and when I turned volume up to appreciate the giraffe's shrieks, I also heard the very distinctive BBC-Attenborough swelling orchestral music playing in the background. At first I thought the giraffe video had been produced by geniuses, but no, it is only the best double play ever.
I will never look at giraffes the same way again, for sure.
Somewhere online Toby and I found a video of a couple of people who honestly seemed to think an electronic toy whose electrical system was malfunctioning was possessed, and they were attempting to exorcise it. (If it was a setup, they held character for quite a long time!)
I sort of want to find them and send them one of these giraffes.
