(no subject)

Do any of you librarians or students or teachers work for an institution that has an online subscription to the Dictionary of American Regional English? I forgot to look something up in our dead-tree version at work today.

(If it's past, say, 10PM Central, don't worry; I'll go look it up at work tomorrow. Just wodnering if I cna get an answer faster. :))

Heh, right, I was thinking Eastern. No hits for "Eskimo brothers" or "Eskimo brother"; the index says that phrases beginning with "Eskimo" are
Eskimo ice cream n • AK
Eskimo potato n • AK
Eskimo yo-yo n • AK
and of the hits for "brother," none seems semantically likely.

p.s. If you have other suggestions for searching, let me know; I'll be afk for 10-15 minutes, then back.
