The quote in my earlier post should read "the critic Julian Symons," not "the. Rigid Julian Symons," however apropos that may be. (Not editing it at the moment because I,m on my iPad and my password is a string of spaghetti that is difficult to type in on a real computer, much less a portable tablet, so I'm sticking with emailing posts.)
