BPAL review: Ave Maria Gratia Plena
Ave Maria Gratia Plena
BPAL description: This comes from the Love Potions collection. A pale, delicate, truly angelic men's blend. A scent created to emulate Adonis' halo of beauty: fragile, distant, and radiant. Rosewood with Sicilian lemon peel, red Mysore sandalwood, pale musks, sweet mountain sage and a dusting of lily, night-blooming jasmine and orris. (Gender neutral)
In vial: Can't really say -- florals, but not girly florals, basically. Maybe just "plants".
Wet: Sort of a dust smell, with very subtle floral. Light.
Dry: The dusty smell faded. What's left is blended enough that I can't really pick out any notes. It's nice. (later) After a while, it gets a sort of a woody thing happening - perhaps it's the rosewood. With a touch of furniture polish, it seems.
Notes: Cat sniffed it thoughtfully and then proceded to bathe. A sophisticated blend that doesn't have anything that I'm familiar with predominating. Nice. Don't think I'll run out and get a bottle, but if I come across one I won't turn it down. Another jasmine thng that doesn't seem to be doing anything to my nose.
