Texas beer tasting

EDIT: Last night I was making notes for a beer tasting Toby was asked to run at a party friends of ours are having in a couple of months. I meant to send it to my own email address and was sleepy enough I didn't notice it going to the DW posti-by-email address. Leaving it here in case anyone's interested in the seven cryptic notes I made. :D

9 varieties
Beer you could buy in local stores
DnD character sheet

Rahr
St Arnold Oktoberfest
Revolver Blood and Honey
Blue Moon - Colorado. Thinking of Real Ale

Sent from my Apple ][+

I was finding it difficult to believe that there was a beer called "DnD character sheet", awesome though that would be... :)

The beers had D&D character sheets? I suppose that could be an interesting way of rating them. "This one has potential - it's a 3rd-level half-elf ranger, maybe even 4th - but it has an awfully low THAC0."

Heh--it's notes for a tasting Toby's going to run at an upcoming party. I was sleepy enough last night I didn't realize I sent it to the wrong email address. :D

Anyway, he had the idea--since we're all gamers--to construct a D&D character sheet for each beer with its basic qualities of IBU, alcohol content, variety, etc.

I suppose that makes more sense than my idea. I still think each beer should have a THAC0, though. Or "% liar."[*]

[*]Yeah, I know, not actually a character sheet joke.
