If you search [ drawing comics thumbnails ] it takes three screens to get to the pr0n, but it also does give many illustrations of thumbnails.
http://www.usscatastrophe.com/zettwoch/rubberframe/ has a comic mural from thumbnail to completion (though their html skillz are wonky).
