I was very confused until I remembered an onager is a siege engine, as well as a wild equid.

You have a thumb-triggered pocket onager? *sob* I only own one scale-model siege engine and it's...technically still not even put together yet. You are the envy of Yoons everywhere!

:D Some time back, I put a quiz on LJ that listed a bunch of names and asked if they were siege engines or something else. I got a lot of people on "onager," by being TRICKY and using tickyboxes, but not mentioning that sometimes the correct answer was to check both.

:D I got free ammo, also! I think it's gel beads for plants--small, clear balls made of some sort of gel filled with water.

I meant to take a photo of it and post it, but I keep forgetting. They had two models, one with string to provide the tension, and one made from a repurposed mousetrap. I got the string one, because it seemed more classic, somehow.
