Update!

Sora's out of surgery (tooth extraction) and doing fine. And yay we do not have to pill a cat who's had oral surgery: they gave him a long-acting antibiotic (1-2 weeks) and painkiller (72 hours).

Although part of the pain cocktail is morphine-derived, so he may be Total Stoner Cat for a little while.

When Nefer came back from being sedated and was walking around loopily, Sora hissed at her and got confused when we wouldn't let him drive her out of the pack.

We are definitely curious to see how Nefer's going to react to him!

And now he's home, and he's feeling very, very sorry for himself. At least Nefer isn't trying to drive him out of the pack in the way he tries to drive her out when she comes home after sedation.
