Ladybug season is here

Ladybugs are swarming! For values of "swarming" that mean "I usually see none, and now I see 5 or 6 whenever I go outside."

Not to mention their engaging in certain immoral, shocking behavior! In public even! It might scare the horses!

It certainly will when they fly up the nostrils and bite.

I do not like ladybugs, particularly the Asian lady beetle, Harmonia axyridis.

I've always loved their carapaces, although I admit to being vaguely aware that they're considered objectionable, aside from their habit of munching on aphids.
