BPAL review: Jester
Jester
BPAL description: From the Illyria collection. Huckleberry and red currant with the incisive bite of neroli.
In vial: Berry Kool-Aid.
Wet: Berry, with a note of something kinda musky.
Dry: The berries settle as it dries, as does the musk, although the musk stays stronger than the berries do.
Notes: Cat sniffed with mild interest, then went "Whatever" and ignored me. I've been noticing that there's something I'm mildly allergic to in most of these, that expresses itself by stuffing my nose up as I test the scents. If I stop smelling my wrists for a bit, the stuffiness goes away - a bit; I spend a good portion of my life stuffed up - but sniffing it brings it back. I'll have to go back through and test and see if I can come up with anything they have in common. The stuffiness is extra-pronounced on this one, so it's a no. Luckily the scent isn't so lovely that I must have it. I can sort-of detect that the berries are still there, but that's really all I can say.
