It's the loveseats that make up the thingy in the media room that have used for claws. XD They're Sora's favorite thing to sharpen his claws on, and he only ever does it when I am in the room, because it's an attention-getting device. (Ignoring him and turning my back on him used to work until we rearranged it in the other place so the back was exposed, and now ostentatious ignoring no longer works because he can't see me when he's doing that. Sigh.)

We just came back from Lowe's with a rug I think will work - it was made in India and has a simple sort of pattern and what I really liked is that it looked a bit faded, as if it had been sitting out and been walked on and had the sun shine on it and stuff for a while. Haven't unrolled it yet, so we'll see.

Ooh, the framed prints idea sounds fab! I was thinking it seemed like dead space since the ceiling was so high, but I didn't ahve any ideas. That sounds good, though.
