From my mother...

if you are looking for a job...

...Target seems to need a search engine specialist...I typed in conair hair braider and it produced 4420 hits. The first one was the DVD Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Alwhatever

(Mom's a weaver and is having shoulder and hand problems, making it hard to twist fringe at the moment, and was looking for the hair braider for that.)

Those things are also great for custom beading needle creation (fold wire in half, hold the v with something the size you want the eye to be, and then whirr--trim point at a slant in the twisted part) and wire twisting. The one time I tried using mine on hair, I hated it, but they do wonderfully on yarn, thread, and wire.

Yeah, I can see where it'd be quite handy. :)

Azkaban. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. It's a very good book and movie.

She knows. :)

I didn't like the movie that much - too rushed because they were trying to cram as many of the events of the book in as possible and didn't have much time to develop the emotional story

Bwah! I've had that happen to me on other sites. I think they just pull up some of the most popular items and hope that's what you're looking for. *headdesks*

The website thing I ahve the most problems with is Amazon.com's Recommended Books thing.

"We see you've purchased Blade of the Immortal volume 7 from us. Would you like to purchase volumes 1-6?"

*headdesk*

You've now given me a great way to kill a few minutes. Random searches on target.com ;)

asdf results in 1 book, but they refuse to show you what that book is.
Any legitimate search with "braider" at the end seems to yield random DVDs.

So far, I'm amused.

Your mandate: break the code! :)

Luckily, Amazon has that "I have already bought this book" feature. Only thing is that I rather get the stupid recommendations than have Amazon become a borg thing that knows everything.
