These really are fun...
Would like to point out in HnG, that you know how Akira will age right away, since he's so identified with his father. It's like they aged Touya Meijin down to play with Hikaru... except perhaps is the Meijin prematurely aged? he's not that old... to have such a young kid. I think it is also a comics convention to have the adults looking too old in some contexts, to emphasize youth. And also to negate potential sex appeal. I think Chief Yagami is looking closer to 60 even though he's possibly younger. I can buy it with him, because of the rigors of police work.
Although it's not comics... take Beauty and the Beast, the Disney film. Chip and the Teapot, I forget what's her name. At the end, Chip is returned to sparkly spry youth, but his mother is ANCIENT. (possibly even post-menopause looking) And so are the other ones.
