I have just...
...installed a program called Squirlz Morph and tested it out*. It'll do those face-averaging things that you occasionally see science experiments about, and I have been seized with the urge to see What My F-List Looks Like When Averaged!
Participation is entirely voluntary, and I won't post anyone's individual picture, just the aggregate created after averaging all the photos I get. And I won't post it unless I get more than 3 photos, since they'll still look familiar unless there's more than a few in there (I'll send the result to the participants, however, in this case, unless participants request I not do so).
I need a full-face photo, without glasses, with a neutral expression (no smile, no frown, no mugging for the camera), and relatively even illumination - no strong lighting from one side - and with the face taking up a relatively large portion of the picture. Rather like this.** Cell-phone quality pics are OK if they're 2MB resolution like the iPhone 3 - the teeny ones probably won't be good enough.
Anyway, send photos to me at telophase14 (at) gmail (dot) com and I'll see what I can come up with! :)
* Blending my and
myrialux's faces. Results will not be posted as I suspect
myrialux would kill me. :) Perhaps I'll try averaging a face with one of the cats, to see how freaky it looks.
** And man, my face is skewed. Yes, it's really my face that does that and not the camera - the photo I took of Toby right before he took this of me doesn't show anything, plus, y'know, I see it in the mirror every day.
