A bit more on Staged Moon Landing. (Check my previous post for context.)
After several hours, Staged Moon Landing has gone past the Play-Dough stage and devolved down to a subtle, lovely, amber-y scent that is probably primarily orris, because I think that's what orris does on me.
Unfortunately, there's also a whiff of Scent Used in Scented Maxipads. It's not a bad scent - certainly it's probably the scent that scented maxipads want to be - however, I have always heartily disliked the idea that anyone could smell any feminine hygiene products I might be using, and thus it's not doing much for me, lovely as it is. I don't even like scented anti-perspirants or lotion. I DO NOT WANT TO SMELL LIKE HYGIENE PRODUCTS THANKYOUVERYMUCH. I always bitch out surveys that ask about scents for products. I wear PERFUME. Why would I want to smell like YOUR PRODUCT?
Argh. I'm not sure it's worth the Play-Dough stage to get to this when there's lots of other perfumes that don't have unfortunate associations. (And I think I need a :/ icon.)
