Reproducing the text of an offer I made over on my DeviantArt page here. Along with random assorted verbal crud.

1) Not dead yet! "Yet" being the operative term here. I have way too much on my plate right now, argh.

2) A-KON IS COMING UP! I need SUGGESTIONS! Especially for things I can put on a small phone-charm-type thing about 1" in diameter. BONUS this time: anyone who makes a suggestion I use will get themselves a charm! It'll be about 1" in diameter, could be any of several shapes (round, heart, puzzle piece, oval), laminated, and attached to a 2" thin strap that you can attach to a phone, a keychain, someone else's head, etc.

P.S. If more than one person makes the same suggestion, the one who posted it first gets the charm. :)

P.P.S. Suggestions with more detail are more useful. "Sora!" isn't particularly useful but "Sora in his Halloweentown outfit!" is. "Sora in his Halloweentown outfit in a pose like [blah] along with two ferrets and a monkey!!" Er, keeping in mind that a 1" diameter space is just about big enough for the character's head and not much else. XD And that if it's obviously appealing to only a very small audience, I probably won't do it. XD

P.P.P.S. Non-fanart suggestions welcome, also.

P.P.P.P.S. OH WHAT THE HELL. If you make a suggestion for a print that I use (keeping the P.P.S. above in mind), I'll send you a copy of the print! More detail is better in these types of suggestions.

3) Steal-OK needs more art! Or, well, "art". You don't get anything for submitting art here except a warm fuzzy feeling somewhere in the vicinity of your shriveled little blackened heart BUT THAT SHOULD BE ENOUGH, RIGHT?!

4) Be on the lookout for a Project Blue Rose illustrated chapbook in the near future! A chapbook is a small booklet of one or more short stories, and we're throwing one together to tide you guys over until PBRII is ready! :D

Can the Things be two-sided? Cos if so, you could have (e.g.) Happy!Renji on one side, and Furious!Renji on the other, or Renji & Rukia, or Renji's head & Renji's butt, or...

I'm not sure because I haven't worked that out yet. XD With the laminator, I'd have to leave a fringe of plastic around it to keep the pieces together, and I'm not sure if it'll be more or less hassle to cut and keep it looking nice than just trimming it down.

(The ones that are put into the round keychains can be two-sided, but I'm reluctant to give those away free as they cost me more. XD Which reminds me: I need to order a 1 1/8" punch since the 1" punch I've got it just a hair too small for them to look good.)

- Little chibi animal-face charms. I am thinking rats would be ultra-cute (and if you end up using this suggestion and do rats, please to send the free charm to oyceter instead of me?).

- Diagonally-split-halfway-across charms of 'ships from Avatar, e.g. Zuko/Mai (I would adore seeing this), Zuko/Katara, etc. So you'd have part of one person's face on the left side and part of the other person's face on the other side, bonus points if the border were a heart.

- "Language of flowers" charms with a little calligraphy-font (or actual calligraphy, whichever!) saying in one or two words across the bottom what the flower means. Alternately, anime/manga character charms (this would be especially cool with Project Blue Rose, I think) with the character's face and then a teeny picture of an appropriate flower.

Also, I know that at I-Con Chessex always does a 'comemorative' D6 every year with the con logo and the number on it. Maybe a character head with the name of the con and the year?

I have some small buttons that are just sections of asian-patterned paper. Kind of abstract and colorful with gold accents in some places. If you can find something similar, cutouts from something might that would be bright and shiny and save you the actual drawing part.

What a pain! But I can't say I'm surprised. You saw how much arguing we were doing over just the Major Arcana ... it would be a fair amount of work to do a complete 78-card Tarot with all appropriate Saiyuki images. I was toying with the idea of trying to put together a few of the cards everyone had pretty much agreed on, but it would be a pain - with the Rider-Waite, specific elements in the background can be important to the meaning, and fudging these things if actual Minekura artwork were not available would be a challenge. (And I certainly don't draw enough to do any of them from scratch, doujinshi fashion!)

I couldn't really look and check the prev. comments(in finals hell still) but Sailor Moon chibi(face only) sold like crazy. I got requests for all the scouts as well. I could not make enough of her- seriously. My other best seller is Ritsuka(that could be a catboy thing and most people liked his hair:/). If you make a Ritsu you should make a Soubi. I found with Deathnote if some one got Light they wanted (or could be coaxed) to get L as well. And you should have different color combos because some people just bought stuff that matched their outfit or phone.
