woo!

I have a semipersonal stake in the Kentucky Derby this year - Colonel John is the horse going to the Derby, and the owner is Susan Casner, whose husband Bill is part-owner of the stables and my mom's second cousin ("Little Billy" as she calls him). Mind you, I'm not sure I ever actually met them; if so it was at a wedding or a funeral, since that branch of the family is fairly distant from me.
