[livejournal.com profile] chomiji, if you're there: trying to contact you!

If you can't contact her and can make it to Bethesda, I can put you up.

Thanks. :) It probably won't be necessary - she knows I'm coming and has approved. I'm just trying to call her to get directions now that I'm out of my session and she's not picking up.:) I don't know if her phone's not on, if it's not on her, or if she's in a place or position where she can't pick up, so I'm hitting all my avenues of contact. :)

I'm assuming you're metro-ing to the nearest station? That bit, I can explain.

I got her! And she's been sent off again, rested, showered, and fed. (The delay here yesterday was because my blessed phone was still on vibrate-only from the conference!)

I got her! Everything's OK - assuming, of course, that there is indeed a seat waiting for her on an airplane today. She decided to wait at the airport all day just to make sure ... .

Yay! Thanks for letting me know. (And I've done that more times than I can count...including the time my mother sent my brother down from Laurel to check that I wasn't dead because I'd forgotten my phone in the car.)

I have a seat! It's a middle seat, but the ticket counter lady said, apologetically even though I hadn't asked about switching seats yet, that the flight was packed. With angry American customers, I fully expect. :D I'm just glad I got in early enough not to get bumped, if they end up doing that.

And after inspecting the terminal map and deciding that the restaurants in the pre-security area were better than the post-security area, Ive decided to stay out here for a while longer.
