On a break in my AJAX in Libraries workshop. Spent over an hour on hold with American waiting for a rep and finally got one. She was very nice and I did my best not to vent my frustrations on her, because I bet she's getting a lot of that right now. She looked up flights and tomorrow's American nonstops were all booked up, so I figured as long as I was going to have to change planes, I'd go for the one tonight. So I'm now on Delta, with an hour layover in Atlanta.
I am REALLY HAPPY that I got my new phone last week, because my battery is going strong. I got the new phone, since my previous one would, after a 25-minute talk with my mom, have the battery half drained. I wouldn't have lasted through the hold this morning. And I also am glad for the speakerphone option, which allowed me to get dressed, finish packing, and wash myhair in the sink while on hold. Didn't manage to take a shower, so the people who have to sit next to me tongiht BEWARE! (Nah, it's not that bad - I'd have taken one last night if it was. XD)
