Death Note news...

MangaNews.net reports that the Weekly Shonen Jump issue 8 (1/23) reports that there will be two live-action Death Note movies, one in June and one in October.

There's also an artbook coming out in May, but ... MOVIES.

Here's hoping they don't suck.

eh. that could go really wrong. I'm a little wary of live-action, and that's because of the GTO live-action which really just made me shudder.

The only live action based off of a manga that i've really liked is Kimi wa petto.

Oh, I think the live-action Boogiepop and Others, based off Boogiepop Phantom, is worth it for the eyeball-licking scene alone. XD
