This is the neighborhood hawk. I often spot him (or her) sitting on one of these streetlights on the way home from work. He (she?) happened to be out this morning, and I happened to have my camera.





Not the best of quality because he's waaay up there on the light and I'm in a moving car (albeit with a camera with active motion control). You're seeing very close to actual pixels here, because I'm zoomed way far in. Not to mention the sun is behind him, so we get the silhouette thing going on.

No, I wasn't driving at the time. :)
